Game Assistant

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Game Assistant processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

Effective date: September 23, 2026 Last updated: September 23, 2026

Game Assistant is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children.

1. Data controller and scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Scoreboot Mobile (“we,” “us,” or “our”) processes information in connection with the Game Assistant mobile application (the “App”).

3. Local game and session data

Game Assistant provides game detection, monitoring, and insight features. Depending on the features you use, it may process the following information locally on your device:

  • Game package name, display name, and icon for games you add.
  • The selected or foreground game package while supported game detection or HUD features are in use.
  • Game session start and end times, duration, and pauses.
  • FPS or Instant Hz measurements, ping or latency measurements, RAM information, and available battery information.
  • Game Insights and graphics/GFX recommendations.

This local game and session information is used to provide the corresponding App features. It is not sent to Scoreboot Mobile's own servers by the App code.

Android backup and device-transfer behavior may apply depending on your device, Android version, backup settings, and the App's backup configuration.

Deleting local Game Insight data

You can delete locally stored Game Insight data in the App:

  1. Open Home.
  2. Open Insights.
  3. Select the game.
  4. Select Clear insight data, then select Clear to confirm.

Deleting local insight data does not delete data that a third-party service independently processes, such as advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or Google Play.

4. Permissions and optional features

Usage Access

The App may request Android Usage Access to periodically identify the application currently in the foreground for supported game detection, HUD, and FPS-related features. This information stays on the device and is not sent to our servers by the App code. You can disable Usage Access in Android settings; related features may then stop working.

Overlay / HUD

When you enable supported HUD features, the App may display FPS, Instant Hz, ping, RAM, or battery information over another app. You can turn this off through the App or Android's overlay settings.

Shizuku and advanced real FPS measurement

On supported devices, you may choose to use Shizuku for advanced real FPS measurement. Shizuku must be separately installed and started by you, and you must grant its permission yourself. The App uses only limited display diagnostic commands for this feature. Related package names, display-layer information, and raw diagnostic output are processed on the device and are not sent to our servers by the App code.

Ping and network measurement

The App may measure latency to google.com, 1.1.1.1, and 8.8.8.8 to display ping information. These measurements do not reduce ping, accelerate your connection, or automatically optimize your network.

5. Notifications and Firebase Cloud Messaging

The App may use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver optional notifications, including game history or activity-related notifications, reminders, and important App announcements or updates.

To deliver notifications, Firebase may process an FCM device token and other information needed for delivery. You can control whether notifications are displayed through Android's notification settings.

If you withdraw the App privacy consent that controls push-registration or disable push registration in the App, we send a request to remove the associated FCM registration data from our servers. Turning off Android's system notification permission may stop notifications from being shown, but does not by itself necessarily remove the server registration. You may also contact us to request deletion.

6. Information sent to our servers

The App may send the following information over HTTPS to servers operated by Scoreboot Mobile at scoreboot.com:

  • Randomly generated app UUID.
  • FCM token.
  • Country code derived from your device's language or regional settings.
  • SHA-256 digest of the App signing certificate.

We use this information to register and manage the App installation, register and manage notification tokens, deliver notification-related functions, maintain service integrity, and prevent misuse. The App does not transmit its locally stored game sessions, FPS, ping, RAM, battery, or Game Insight data to our servers.

7. Advertising, analytics, crash reporting, and billing

Advertising

The App may use Unity LevelPlay / ironSource, Google AdMob, and Unity Ads. Depending on provider configuration, your device, region, and consent choices, these services may process advertising identifiers, device or app identifiers, IP address and network information, approximate location inferred from network information, advertising interactions, and technical diagnostics.

We provide available consent and privacy controls where applicable. These providers process information under their own policies.

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics

When Firebase Analytics is enabled, the App may send usage and interaction events, such as screens viewed and feature use, to Firebase Analytics. When Firebase Crashlytics is enabled, it may collect crash reports, stack traces, device and operating-system details, App version information, and related technical diagnostics. We use these services to understand App use, investigate problems, and improve stability.

Google Play Billing and subscriptions

The App uses Google Play Billing for Premium subscriptions. Google Play handles payment processing. We do not collect or store payment-card or bank-card numbers through the App. The App may process subscription-status information needed to make Premium features available.

Third-party services and their privacy information

8. Purposes and legal bases for processing

We process information to provide App features, detect and monitor supported games, display FPS, Instant Hz, ping, RAM, and battery information, generate Game Insights and GFX recommendations, manage notification delivery and App registration, measure use, diagnose crashes, provide advertising and subscription functions, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information based on your consent, the performance of our service to you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the App, or compliance with legal obligations, as appropriate for the processing activity.

9. Retention and deletion

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

  • Local Game Insight data remains on your device until you clear it, uninstall the App, or it is otherwise removed by your device or backup settings.
  • For our server records, including app UUID, FCM token, country code, and signing-certificate digest, we do not currently use an automatic time-based deletion schedule.
  • If you withdraw the App privacy consent that controls push registration or disable that registration in the App, we send a deletion request for the related notification registration data.
  • If a notification cannot be delivered and the FCM registration is reported as invalid or no longer usable, we treat that device registration as inactive and delete it.
  • We may also delete server data when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected.
  • When you request deletion, we begin the deletion process for the relevant server data and complete the request within a reasonable period, subject to verification and legal obligations.

Third-party providers may retain data independently under their own policies and retention practices.

10. Your choices and privacy rights

You can control certain processing through Android permission settings, Android Usage Access settings, Android notification settings, the App's in-app settings, advertising and privacy-consent controls, Shizuku settings, and the in-app option to clear Game Insight data.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

To exercise your rights or request deletion of server data, email support@scoreboot.com. Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant App installation, such as the App UUID if available, without sending unnecessary sensitive information.

For users in Türkiye, applicable rights may also arise under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). For users in the EEA or United Kingdom, GDPR or UK GDPR rights may apply. For users in California and other U.S. states, applicable state privacy laws may provide additional rights.

11. Children

Game Assistant is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not designed to target children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action where required.

12. Activities not used by the App

Game Assistant does not use GPS-based location tracking or a location permission for its core features. It does not use OneSignal, Facebook Ads, Twitter/X Ads, AppLovin, direct payment-card collection, ping-reduction or internet-acceleration functionality, or guaranteed automatic acceleration or optimization of every game.

Advertising SDKs may nevertheless process approximate location or network-derived information under their own configurations and privacy policies.

13. Security, changes, and contact

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed through the App. Communications between the App and our servers use HTTPS where applicable. No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App, our services, applicable law, or our processing practices. We will update the “Last updated” date when we make changes.
